DV Power is continuing a series of technical webinars dedicated to instrument transformer testing. The next webinar “Testing current transformers using IEEE standards,” is scheduled for 25^thJuly 2024.

Our expert panel will explain the technical characteristics and limits of various metering and protection classes of current transformers described in the IEEE C57.13 standard. The correlation between ratio error and ratio correction factor (RCF) will be described in detail. The importance of secondary terminal voltage for protection type CTs is going to be covered during the presentation. We will also speak about different test methods, with special attention paid to the test method used by our recently launched product, the current and voltage transformer analyzer CVA500.
