With all its instruments, DV Power supplies standard test cables compatible with every individual instrument. However, not every purpose requires standard DV Power cables. To overcome this challenge, DV Power manufactures customized cables according to users’ requirements.
Current cables carry high currents. That is why these cables have bigger cross-sections. DV Power can deliver current cables of cross sections from 16 mm2 to 95 mm2. These cables can be ordered in lengths of 3 m, 5 m, 10 m, and 15 m. Additionally, a user can order cable extensions in lengths of 5 m and 10 m.
Sense cables are also known as voltage cables. They are used for voltage measurement and have a 2,5 mm2 cross-section. Same as current cables, they can be ordered in lengths of 3 m, 5 m, 10 m, and 15 m.
Both current and sense cables can be used in various situations. Depending on these situations, it may be required to use some specific clamps. DV Power can deliver current and voltage cables with the following types of clamps and plugs:
