Circuit breaker test system is PC-controlled digital instrument designed for routine, endurance and type testing. Consisting of circuit breaker analyzer and variable power supply unit (based on CAT and SAT series models), it operates and collects all relevant circuit breaker data.
During manufacturing process, every circuit breaker is exposed to different type of tests in order to ensure their functionality as well as to comply with established standards and customer demands. The circuit breaker test system needs to fullfil the following:
CBTS Hardware consists of separate acquisition units – circuit breaker analyzer and variable power supply unit – mounted into a standard 19” control cubical. Technical capabilities of mounted units depend on the requirements and type of breakers are going to be tested.
The system is expandable in terms of timing channels, coil and motor drive outputs, number of micro-ohmmeters and is subject to easy functionality adaptation.
Industrial panel PC featuring rigorous industrial protections, wide range operating temperature, is appropriate for harsh environments and critical applications.
CBTS Software application provides control of the CBTS as well as acquisition and analysis of the test results from a PC. It supports creating different test sequences, measurements process and step by step guidance through the entire test procedure, providing faster, easier and safer testing. Results are automatically stored and organized in the database on CBTS and are available for analysis and reporting.
Each test can be automatically assessed according to manufacturer specifications or based on your individual limit values. CBTS software automatically generates reports including all asset-related information and performed tests. This gives you a comprehensive overview of the test object, test results and assessment. Also, you can easily adapt test reports.
