We, IBEKO Power AB recognizable by brand name DV Power, with headquarters located and registered at Stockholmsvägen 18, 181 50 Lidingö Sweden, tax ID: SE556647700501, recorded in the Swedish Companies Registration Office Bolagsverket develop, manufacture, market and sell testing and measuring equipment for industrial use. We may refer to IBEKO Power AB as “we”, “us”, or “our”. We may refer to you as “user”, “reader”, “you” or “your”. The purpose of this policy is to inform you about the information we collect, how we use and share that information, and the ways in which you can control how we use and share that information.

We handle all your personal data in line with the applicable legislation, primarily Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”), Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications, as amended, and Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services, as amended.

This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data related to children.

1. Information We Receive or Collect from You

Identity Data

When you register for our services, we ask you to provide certain information, which includes your email address, password, full name, country as well as, type of business for your account.

Financial Data

We do not collect any financial data from you.

Contact Data

For contact and delivery purposes you may be asked to provide postal address, zip code, telephone number, email address and any other data which will help us to deliver you the product in the shortest period.

Profile Data

Besides your log-in data, we may collect details about your orders, purchases, interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses.

Technical Data

When you are browsing our website, we may collect your internet protocol (IP) address, MAC address, browser type and version, internet service provider, date/time settings, location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating systems and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access the website. We do not collect any data about you which includes details about your race, ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, political opinions, health information or biometric data. Nor do we collect any information on your criminal records.

If you fail to provide personal data where we need to collect them by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, we may not be able to provide you with goods or services. If this is the case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have requested but we will notify you about the inability.

We may receive or collect information about you from third parties, and combine and store it on our servers with other information we may have already received or collected from you. These third parties include:

Our use of cookies

IBEKO Power AB uses a technology that is commonly known as “cookies.” A cookie is a file our server writes to your hard drive that contains an alphanumeric identifier. Opting Out

You can always ask us to stop sending you marketing emails or newsletters by unsubscribing manually or contacting us.

When you opt out of receiving marketing emails, this will not apply to personal data provided to us as a result of a product/service purchase, warranty registration or other transactions.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. However, you have to have in mind that internet is not totally secured place and despite out efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we legally required to do so.

Your personal data are not public and IBEKO Power AB is the only one who have an access to it.

8. Data Retention

We will retain and use your provided data and other information we collect about you for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

9. Changes to our Privacy Policy

We will continue to evaluate this policy against new technologies, business practices, Safe Harbor requirements, and our users’ needs, and may make changes to the policy accordingly. Please check this page periodically for updates. If we make any material changes to this policy, we will post the updated terms of the policy on the website, and provide you notice of such changes, which may include notice by email through a message sent to the email address you use to access the website, or posting a message on the website.

Any material changes to this policy will be effective upon the earlier of thirty (30) calendar days following our dispatch of an email notice to you or thirty (30) calendar days following our posting of notice of the changes on the website. These changes will be effective immediately for new users of the website. Please note that at all times you are responsible for updating your information to provide us with your most current email address. Generally

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data:

  • Right for the provision of information on personal data processing –
    Entitles you to obtain information relating to our full identification as the controller of your personal data, together with contact data to our personal data officer. Concurrently, you are entitled to know the legal basis for processing, purpose or information on the period of personal data storage.
  • Right to access personal data – Entitles you to obtain the information whether we process your personal data and if we do so, in what scope. Concurrently, you have the right to request a copy of the processed personal data. Upon your request, we are also obliged to inform you on the purpose of data processing, recipient of processed personal data, or other related information.
  • Right to request correction – Entitles you to change or complete data we hold about you if they are incorrect or incomplete. It is possible we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data depending on the purpose.
  • Right to request erasure – Entitles you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.

  • Right to request a data transfer – Entitles you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios: (a) if you want us to establish the data’s accuracy; (b) where our use of the data is unlawful but you do not want us to erase it; (c) where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or (d) you have objected to our use of your data but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.

Fee

You will not have to pay fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive, excessive or if we have some legal costs because of the request. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

Law Enforcement

IBEKO Power AB will conduct compliance audits of our relevant privacy practices to verify adherence to this policy and will self-certify with the U.S. and EU relevant laws compliance. Further, we will conduct follow up investigations to verify that attestations and assertions regarding our privacy practices are accurate. You may inquire about an inaccuracy or make a complaint about a potential violation to us via the contact information provided below. We do engage in training to support implementation and compliance of our privacy practices; any employee that we determine is in violation of this policy may be subject to disciplinary action.
