Battery Capacity Testers/Discharge Testers

 

Battery Capacity Testers plays an important role in battery maintenance practices. In order to determine where the battery lies on its predictable life curve and also when to replace your battery, it is important to perform the capacity test according to standards recommendations with corresponding capacity tester/discharge tester.

DV Power Battery Capacity Testers (BLU Series) are compact, user-friendly and the lightest discharge testers on the market.

BLU Series of capacity testers/discharge testers can operate in three discharge modes:

  1. Constant Current
  2. Constant Power
  3. Constant Resistance

Furthermore it is possible to simulate battery duty cycle using user selectable discharge profile. Also BLU Series measures and displays overall battery voltage, discharge current, discharge test time and capacity during the entire test.

Tests are performed in accordance to following battery testing standards:

  • IEEE 450-2010
  • IEEE 1188-2005
  • IEEE 1106-2015
  • IEC 60896-11/22

Discharge test can be performed while a battery is still connected to the load it serves.
BLU measures load current with manufacturers provided current clamps and regulate entire discharge process.
